Our Telethon Holiday Makers Program, held at our centre in Fremantle, is a great introduction to Autism West and our social groups!
We aim to offer a range of activities based on the special interests our participants have identified, which creates a natural social environment where participants have the opportunity to meet like-minded peers and have some new fun experiences along the way!
The Telethon Holiday Makers Program is run by a range of professionals, such as teachers and support workers with autism experience.
Our holiday program benefits families by providing:
- Peace of mind knowing there are suitable and fitting holiday activitiies for children
- A safe and nurturing place for participants amongst like minded individuals
- Social interaction opportunities
- Quality time to spend with the remainder of the family
- The Telethon Holiday Makers Program qualifies for NDIS and CRCC funding
- A rebate may be available to those who self-fund the program.
The program runs from Monday to Friday, except on public holidays, and morning and afternoon tea are provided, however we ask that parents provide a packed lunch for the morning or full day session.

“We were so appreciative of your holiday program as it was a wonderful opportunity for [our daughter] to socialise and experience fun and stimulating activities in a safe and supportive environment.
It also gave us a rare opportunity for respite as school holidays are a stressful time for [our daughter] and the family.”
“I am very grateful that [my son] gets this chance to interact with other children over the holidays especially since he doesn’t get invited by his school peers. I am also grateful that his younger brother and I also get a chance to spend quality time together during that time. Thank you for all that you and the team at AW do.”

Thanks to Telethon for their continued support of this invaluable program.
