We understand there is a lot of confusion and uncertainty around COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and our priority is to keep our community safe as we continue to monitor updates from the State and Federal Governments. As a result, on Wednesday 19th March we made the decision to suspend face to face services for the health and well being of all in our community.
During this time Autism West is taking the opportunity to explore innovative and new ways to deliver our services. We want to keep our community connected and we are exploring alternative forms of community participation until our face-to-face social groups and other services re-commence at a later stage.
After consultation with our social group participants, Autism West is delighted to announce the launch of our virtual social groups! These groups will be facilitated by our current group leaders, maintaining continuity for participants, employment for our valued staff, as well as an opportunity for new participants to join in. We are pleased to announce the first session will be run on Wednesday 1 April and participants are able to access their NDIS funding for these online sessions as an alternative to face-to-face groups.
If you wish to enrol, please email enrolments at email@example.com and we will be in contact.
For any enquiries about other services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during these times. We look forward to connecting with you and keeping you updated.
